The present study, as part of an empirical sociological study, aims to establish the attitudes and preferences of medical assistant students at the Faculty of Medicine in Stara Zagora for continuing education and specialisation, as a means of increasing professional qualifications, with the subsequent possibility of providing quality medical care, in accordance with the current legal framework and international trends in Bulgaria.
