Prof. Elena Zheleva
Elena Zheleva graduated from the Semi-Higher Medical Institute in Stara Zagora in 1980 as a medical paramedic. In 2000, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care from the Medical University of Sofia, and in 2002, a Master’s degree in Pedagogy with a professional qualification in Pedagogy and a specialisation in Adult Education from the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. Kliment Ohridski". Since 2006 he has been a ‘Doctor’ in the scientific specialty ‘Theory of Education and Didactics’.
In 2009 he obtained a Master’s degree in Health Care Management and a Health Care Manager qualification at the Medical University of Sofia. Since 2009 he has been an ‘Assessor’ in the scientific specialty ‘Training Methodology (General and Special Nursing Care)’. In 2015 he acquired the specialty ‘Medical Pedagogy’ at the Medical University of Sofia. Since 2020 he has been a ‘Professor’ in the specialty ‘Pedagogy of Health Care Education’.
He worked as a professor at the Sliven branch of the Medical University ‘Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov’, Varna. In 2024, she was elected a member of the National Quality Council of the Bulgarian Union of Medical Assistants and Paramedics.
