Lyubomir Marinov

In 1983, he graduated from the Semi-Medical Institute in Vratsa, specialising in Medical Paramedic.
In 1989, at the Institute for the Training of Trainers in Practice - Sliven, he obtained the qualification ‘Teacher in Practice at the Ministry of Education and Science’.
Since 1999, he has obtained the qualification ‘Health Care Management, Medical College Lecturer’, a bachelor’s degree programme at the Medical University of Sofia, Faculty of Public Health.

He also holds a Master’s degree in Health Care Management from the Medical University of Sofia, Faculty of Public Health. /2005/
2021 has defended a dissertation – educational and scientific degree Doctor of Social Medicine and Organisation of Health and Pharmacy at the Medical University of Sofia, Faculty of Public Health.
He started his working career in 1983, successively practising his profession at the BMP (Emergency Medical Service), as a school paramedic and at the Rural Health Department of the Roman Polyclinic.
From 1986 to 2018, he was a lecturer at the Semi-Higher Medical Institute in Vratsa, now a branch of the Medical University in Sofia.
From 2018 to 2023 he was Assistant Department of Health Care.
From 2021 to 2025, he was Head of Medical Assistantship.
From 2023 to 2025 he was Chief Assistant Department of Health Care at the Medical University of Sofia, Branch of Vratsa
