In 1994 he graduated from the Higher Medical Institute at the Higher Medical Institute in Sofia, and in 2013 he obtained a master’s degree in ‘Regulations and standards in
Medicine” at the New Bulgarian University - Sofia.

From 1994 to 2000 Galina Zaharieva was a paramedic at the SZU, Lesidren village, vol. It's a hunter-gatherer. From 2000 to 2003 he was Head of the Medical Service and Pharmacy in a division of the Ministry of Defence. She has worked as a GP in Sofia. From 2003 to 2018, he successively held various positions in the Department of Urology and Nephrology’s Endourology and Extracorporeal Litotrypsy Clinic, the Diagnostic-Operational Centre and the Department of Urgent Medicine’s Clinic of Terrestrial Surgery and the Secretariat of the Military Medical Academy in Sofia.

From 2018 to 2024, he was a State Inspector at the Medical Activities and Patients’ Rights Control Directorate of the Medical Supervision Executive Agency of the Ministry of Health.

He holds numerous certificates and certificates from trainings and participations in national and international medical forums.

Since 2008 he is a member of the Management Board of the Association of Medical Doctors, Bachelors of Medicine in Bulgaria (SMMBMB), registered in 2007. Galina Zaharieva is among the founders of the Bulgarian Union of Medical Assistants and Paramedics, and in 2020 she was elected Deputy Chairperson.

In 2024, she was elected Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Union of Medical Assistants and Paramedics.
